Daniel’s full SFU Research Profile
Daniel Chang holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from SFU. He also completed his undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Linguistics at SFU. He has approximately 10 years of teaching multilingual EAL students in Canada. At SFU, he has taught various Linguistics and Education courses. At the same time, he had been a writing consultant at SFU’s Student Learning Commons for 8 years. As an immigrant student, he fully understands the struggles of multilingual EAL students. His academic research career focuses on three intersecting themes: argumentation, self-regulated learning, academic literacy for multilingual writers, and Artificial Intelligence in Education.
